“ As a naturopathic physician, I believe in the healing power of nature and the body's ability to heal itself. Symptoms are the result of the body's attempt to heal, not the cause of an illness which may be physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual. I support and assist the body's self-healing by identifying and removing obstacles to healing and recovery. Rather than eliminate or suppress symptoms, I seek to identify the underlying cause of an illness.
I see a patient's health problem as a puzzle that requires gathering all the necessary pieces of information to get an accurate picture of the whole. There may be other issues related to the health problem that are unknown, yet are essential in solving the puzzle.” - Dr. Carrie Brennan
